LITTLER MENDELSON: Littler Adds Attorney Pamela R. Irons to Memphis Office

Partnership

Littler Mendelson issued the following announcement on June 18.

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Pamela R. Irons to its Memphis office as special counsel. Irons joins the firm from Jackson Lewis P.C.

“Pamela’s practice is a perfect fit for our growing Memphis office, and we are thrilled to welcome her to Littler,” said Tanja Thompson, Memphis office managing shareholder. “Her strong employment litigation background, as well as her rich advice and counsel experience will further enhance the firm's offerings in Tennessee, particularly in the area of discrimination and harassment.”

Irons represents management in Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, USERRA and retaliation claims, as well as other federal and state employment laws. She also represents employers in Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor and state administrative proceedings in responding to charges of discrimination, fact-finding conferences and on-site investigations. In addition, Irons assists clients with preparing and updating employment applications, company policies and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with applicable laws. She also conducts harassment prevention training and devotes a portion of her practice to noncompetition matters.

“I am excited to join the Littler team in Memphis,” said Irons. “The firm has an excellent reputation for its integrated platform, deep industry knowledge, diverse legal team, and client-focused service solutions – all of which will be of tremendous value to my clients.”

Irons received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her M.S. and B.S. from Loyola University Chicago. She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Illinois.
