Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on May 21.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Alé Dalton, an attorney in the firm’s Nashville office, is among the finalists for the 2019 Nashville Emerging Leaders Awards (NELA).

Presented annually by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville, the awards recognize professionals under age 40 in the Middle Tennessee region for their career and community-building achievements. Each NELA winner has demonstrated a commitment to leadership in the region.

“We congratulate Alé for being selected as one of this year’s Nashville Emerging Leaders Awards finalists,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “Alé is both a successful lawyer at Bradley and young leader who has demonstrated a true commitment and passion for community involvement.”

As a member of Bradley’s Healthcare Practice Group, Ms. Dalton assists clients in the healthcare industry with a wide range of transactional, operational and regulatory matters. Her practice focuses on counseling clients during mergers and acquisitions, as well as guiding clients through issues that arise from the complex nature of operating in the highly regulated healthcare industry. Her experience includes handling acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures involving hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and other providers. She also advises clients in matters involving clinical research and telemedicine.

Ms. Dalton contributes her time and legal services working at community legal clinics through Bradley’s pro bono program. While studying at the University of Tennessee College of Law, she was actively involved with the school’s UT Pro Bono program and other efforts addressing legal service gaps in the state. Her service earned her special recognition from the College of Law and the University of Tennessee Center for Leadership and Service. She also was recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court as a Law Student for Justice.

Bradley is among the NELA sponsors. Award winners will be announced at the 13th annual NELA ceremony Aug. 1 at Lipscomb University. NELA finalists in 14 industry categories were selected by committees made up of community leaders and experts within each industry area. The selection criteria included applicants' answers to essay questions as well as their level of professional achievement, demonstrated leadership, and community impact.

YP Nashville is a partnership between the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and young professional organizations that work together to engage, connect and empower young professionals to actively shape the future of the Nashville region.
