BRADLEY ARANT BOULT CUMMINGS: Jonathan Wohlwend Rejoins Bradley’s Birmingham Office as Intellectual Property Associate

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on April 23.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Jonathan D. Wohlwend has rejoined the firm’s Birmingham office as an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. He previously was an attorney at the firm in 2014 and early 2015.

“We are delighted to welcome Jonathan back to Bradley,” said Bradley Birmingham Office Managing Partner Dawn Helms Sharff. “Jonathan’s background includes prosecutorial experience and past work in the biotech arena, both of which are highly beneficial to our intellectual property clients.”

Mr. Wohlwend focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including helping clients across a broad range of business sectors protect and enforce their intellectual property rights.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Wohlwend was an assistant staff judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force, serving as a federal prosecutor as well as an advisor to military leadership. As a military attorney, he provided counsel on a broad range of legal issues, including trial practice, government investigations, government contracts, and federal regulatory compliance.

Prior to law school, Mr. Wohlwend worked as a laboratory technician for a Birmingham-based biotechnology company.

Mr. Wohlwend received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from Cumberland School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in biology from Samford University.
