Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard issued the following announcement on March 13.
Lugenbuhl shareholder Benjamin Kadden will serve as a speaker at the upcoming 66th Mineral Law Institute. Hosted by the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, the two-day seminar will take place March 14 – 15, 2019 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Baton Rouge, La.

The discussion will include how consensual “liens,” or privileges, are unenforceable in Louisiana and the treatment of a LOWLA privilege in a bankruptcy case.
The seminar provides Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi CLE credits.
Kadden is a frequent speaker at conferences around the country and abroad. As a key member of Lugenbuhl’s bankruptcy practice, he has represented debtors, creditors and creditor committees in large and complex commercial bankruptcy cases.
