Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Phoenix Intellectual Property Partner John Vassiliades will be a featured panelist in a US Department of Energy webinar titled "IP Strategy & Best Practices" on January 15, 2019 at 10 a.m. (PST) and 1 p.m. (EST).
Vassiliades will be joined by former CTO of BAE Systems John Wasson and marketing expert Jeff Carpenter. Vassiliades' panel will shed light on issues involved in developing IP strategy including tools to protecting your IP, ownership and royalties, freedom to operate, working with patent attorneys, and how to file. All three panelists are Prinicipal Advisors for the US Department of Energy's Commercialization Assistance Program.
John Vassiliades is a registered patent attorney and has negotiated hundreds of business transactions that develop and monetize IP rights, including patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret licensing, R&D, M&A, IT, software, E-Commerce, Biotech/pharma, EdTech, agriculture, medical device, commercial OEM/VAR product distribution deals, strategic alliances, corporate technology collaborations, equity joint ventures, IP due diligence, patent strategy, risk assessments, among many other structures and projects, both domestic and international.
