New York Partner Sonia Kaur Bain has been named to Crain’s New York Business“Notable Women in Law” list. This second annual honor roll of female attorneys “celebrates an exceptional pool of talented female attorneys in the New York City metropolitan area,” the publication stated. “It honors the achievements of the brightest and boldest legal minds, those with both distinguished careers and exceptional civic and philanthropic activities.”
Bain is a transactional commercial real estate lawyer who represents developers, retail companies, hotel groups, landlords and tenants, and family offices with acquisitions, dispositions, development, ground and space leases, financing and leasing of numerous types of commercial real estate assets including mixed-use, residential, retail, hotel and industrial properties in New York City and across the country. In addition to her legal and business advice, Bain is also frequently sought after as a speaker, moderator and panelist on topics relating to the real estate industry.
Bain is the current vice president and board member of WX Inc., an invitation-only association of executive-level women actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry in New York.
