Partner and Electronic Discovery and Information Management Practice Group Leader John Martin was invited to co-chair the 5th Annual Electronic Discovery Institute Judicial Training Symposium to be held in 2019. The invitation was extended at this year’s event, held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., at which Martin moderated the panel discussion, “If Everyone Has a Smartphone, Should There Be Smartphone Discovery in Every Case?”
The annual Judicial Training Symposium is a joint educational initiative of the Electronic Discovery Institute and The Federal Judicial Center and includes United States federal judges and invited speakers.
Founded in November of 2006, The Electronic Discovery Institute (“EDI”) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education, leadership, service, advocacy and research at the intersection of law and technology. The EDI community comprises corporate counsel, private practitioners, judges, professors of law and science, consultants, technologists and experts.
