BALTIMORE, Md. (Legal Newsline) – A Maryland law firm alleges a New York company failed to pay it for its services.

Stout Law Group PA filed a complaint on Nov. 26 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland Northern Division against VNUE Inc. alleging unjust enrichment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff represented the defendant in corporate and securities legal work from 2015 to 2016. The plaintiff alleges it is owed $100,842.76 for its services and that it also is owed $60,000 worth of VNUE common stock.

The plaintiff holds VNUE Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly kept the benefit of the legal services provided by plaintiff without paying the agreed upon legal fees.

The plaintiff seeks an award of damages and/or restitution in the amount of $160,842.76, plus interest, attorney’s fees and court costs, and for such other and further relief as is deemed appropriate. It is represented by Matheau J. W. Stout in Baltimore, Maryland.
