Polsinelli PC issued the following announcement on Dec 03.

Polsinelli, an Am Law 100 firm, welcomes Brian Adams to its Nashville office.

Adams focuses his practice on corporate and transactional law with an emphasis on emerging growth and established companies. Clients rely on him for guidance related to mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and capital formation, as well as contract negotiation and interpretation.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Adams spent two years in the San Diego Padres organization after being selected in the eighth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft. He played baseball and football at the University of Kentucky and earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in business finance before graduating cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law.

While at the University of Kentucky, Adams worked alongside members of the athletic department’s development team to raise money for facility upgrades and other operational expenses. This experience led Adams to pursue a career where he could help businesses raise money to accomplish their objectives.

“Polsinelli provides that opportunity,” Adams said. “The firm’s national platform is well-positioned to thrive in a rapidly-changing legal market and I am grateful for the opportunity to play a role in the continued growth of our firm as it expands its footprint around the country.”

Adams is part of a Polsinelli team that is working to grow the firm’s presence in Nashville and across the country. The strategy has served the firm well, as seen with the recent hiring of esteemed corporate and transactional attorney Kolin Holladay to the Nashville office. The Nashville office opened in 2015, and draws on the diverse backgrounds of its attorneys to drive its strong Commercial Litigation practice. Additionally, Nashville is a hub for the health care industry, and attorneys in the Nashville office work closely with the firm's 185-member Health Care practice. The attorneys serve health care companies in managing corporate transactions of all sizes, and by providing guidance as they navigate the complex legal and regulatory environments that surround the industry and heavily impact business decisions and operations.

“We’re continuing to deepen our bench, both in Middle Tennessee and around the country,” said John Peterson, managing partner for Polsinelli’s Nashville office and a shareholder in the firm’s national Commercial Litigation practice. The volume and complexity of our transactional work keeps on growing, and our clients benefit from having attorneys like Brian as part of our team. He is not only business-minded, but also a strategic thinker who can help clients solve problems and close deals.”

Polsinelli’s national Corporate and Transactional practice provides a range of legal services from selecting the appropriate choice of entity through exit strategies and everything in between during the life cycle of a business. Working in collaboration with attorneys from the firm's Tax and other related practice areas allows the firm to provide clients with comprehensive legal advice designed to minimize liability, maintain flexibility, and advance clients’ objectives.
