Jackson Lewis issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.

"We are honored to again be recognized by BTI for the eighth consecutive year,” said Firm Chairman Vincent A. Cino. “We consider this report to be an excellent gauge of how successfully we are responding to our clients’ needs, and as such I believe can attribute our continued inclusion to Jackson Lewis’ ongoing commitment to providing excellent, innovative and efficient client service to employers across the country. Congratulations to our deep bench of talented litigators for continuing to be forward-thinking and engaged, and incorporating client service into all aspects of their work.”

This year’s BTI report was based on in-depth interviews with leading legal decision-makers across the U.S. and features an analysis of data trends from more than 5,100 corporate counsel interviews conducted over the span of 19 years.

"The report found that 92 percent of companies surveyed are facing some sort of employment litigation and pegged the potential growth in employment litigation in 2019 at 3.9 percent,” said BTI’s President and Founder Michael Rynowecer. “It also projected the overall market size for employment litigation to increase from $4.58 billion to $4.76 billion, which would be the highest number this decade."
