Missouri Attorney General issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.
Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley obtained a $13,357 default judgment on behalf of six Missouri consumers who were defrauded by Michael Robinson and his company Michael’s Irrigation, LLC.
Robinson entered into agreements with Missouri consumers to provide installation and maintenance services for water irrigation systems and took upfront payment for those services. Despite receiving payment, Robinson and his company failed to provide any of the promised services to customers.
“There is no place for unscrupulous business practices in Missouri’s marketplace” Hawley said. “My office will vigorously prosecute those who attempt to defraud Missouri consumers.”
