Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. is pleased to announce that Padraic F. X. Dugan has joined the firm as an associate on the Family Law team. Mr. Dugan’s practice focuses in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, alimony, as well as equitable distribution matters with a background in complex financial and high asset family law matters. Mr. Dugan has extensive experience handling family law cases before trial courts throughout New Jersey. He has also experience litigating cases in both the New Jersey Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court.
From 2009-2010, Mr. Dugan served as a clerk for the Honorable Robert A. Coogan, J.S.C., in the Division of Equity and Chancery, Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part. Prior to beginning his judicial clerkship, Mr. Dugan earned his law degree in 2009 from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in litigation, where he was awarded the Certificate of Merit in Jurisprudence. Prior to law school, Mr. Dugan graduated in 2005 from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Dugan is also a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and District of Columbia.
