STATE OF NEBRASKA JUDICIAL BRANCH: Nominations Open for Distinguished Judge Awards 2018

State of Nebraska Judicial Branch issued the following announcement on June 15.

The “Distinguished Judge for Improvement of the Judicial System” and “Distinguished Judge for Service to the Community” awards were established to publicly recognize members of the judiciary for meritorious projects and exemplary accomplishments that enhance the vision of justice within our communities.

Service to the Community is for a judge who has distinguished himself or herself through performance of service to the community on a volunteer or professional level.Service to the Community Nomination Form

Improvement of the Judicial System is given to a judge who has distinguished himself or herself through contributions to the improvement of the judicial system; service as a trial judge; or promotion of judicial efficiency. Improvement of the Judicial System Nomination form

Previous award recipients can be found on the Judicial Branch Website Distinguished Judge Awards page. Nominations from all Judicial Branch employees are welcome.

Deadline for nominations is August 31, 2018
