BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Legal Newsline) – A New York consumer alleges a computer processor has security flaws.

Jacob Stern, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a complaint on Jan. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York against Intel Corp. alleging breach of warranty, fraudulent concealment and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that he is one of millions of New York consumers who purchased electronic devices containing defendant's x86-64 computer processors. He alleges that the processors have security flaws that can expose users' personal information to hackers.

The plaintiff holds Intel Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to disclose that the processors contain security flaws and sells the processors without warnings.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seek to award damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, costs and other and further relief that the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Israel Klein and Brittany Weiner of Imbesi Law PC in New York.
