Harbortouch Payments accused of calling man on Do-Not-Call list

LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) – A California man alleges a business financing company has unlawfully contacted him.

Terry Fabricant filed a complaint on behalf of all other similarly situated on Sept. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Harbortouch Payments LLC and Does 1 through 10 citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that beginning in March, the defendants contacted him in an attempt to solicit their services.

The plaintiff holds Harbortouch Payments, LLC; and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly called the plaintiff despite having his number on the National Do-Not Call Registry and without his consent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks $500 in statutory damages, $1,500 in treble damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Todd M.
