TAMPA, Fla. (Legal Newsline) – A Florida man alleges that a furniture store chain unlawfully contacted him for marketing purposes.

Arthur Thomas Wetterer filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Aug. 10 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against Roomstogo.com Inc. alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from receiving several unsolicited telemarketing calls from the defendant beginning in July. He alleges he has never had a business relationship with the defendant.

The plaintiff holds Roomstogo.com Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly called the plaintiff's cellular telephone despite being registered on the Do-Not-Call registry since March 7, 2009.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and statutory damages, injunction against the defendant, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Raymond R. Dieppa of Dieppa I Martinez PLLC in Miami.
