LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) – A Los Angeles County individual alleges that a real estate company unlawfully contacted her.
Mahbobeh Razmara filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated on June 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Keller Williams Realty Inc., doing business as Keller Williams, alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she has never had a relationship with the defendant and that it began calling her in June 2017 to solicit her business.
The plaintiff holds Keller Williams Realty Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly made numerous automated phone calls to the plaintiff despite her request to stop calling.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks injunctive relief, interest, statutory damages, attorney's fees and any other relief the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Abbas Kazerounian and Jason A. Ibey of Kazerouni Law Group, APC in Costa Mesa, California.
