SAN DIEGO (Legal Newsline) – A California man is suing a dietary supplements and exercise/sport products manufacturer over claims it misrepresents certain of its products as being made in the U.S.
Michael Radashkevich, individually and for all others similarly situated, filed a class-action lawsuit Dec. 22 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Sun Brothers LLC, doing business as SunWarrior, alleging violations of California's Consumers Legal Remedies Act and other California codes that protect consumers from false advertising and unlawful, unfair and fraudulent business practices.
The suit states the defendant's products, including SunWarrior's Warrior Blend – Raw Vegan Protein product, prominently display a "Made in the USA" claim.
However, the suit states these products include ingredients substantial ingredients that are manufactured, grown or sourced outside the U.S.
Radashkevich and others in the class seek damages, injunctive relief, and attorney fees and costs, together to exceed $5 million.
