Round Rock alleges Nintendo violated patent

Round Rock Research LLC sued Nintendo Company Ltd. and Nintendo of America on Wednesday over allegations of patent infringement.

Round Rock alleges that Nintendo violated United States Patent and Trademark Office laws through the ongoing distribution of various products that incorporate graphical processing units, ARM processors and other semiconductor components including the Nintendo Wii, the Nintendo Wii U, the Nintendo Wii Mini, the Nintendo 3DS XL, the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo 2DS products.

The plaintiff is seeking compensation, plus interest.
