CVS pays fines for selling overheated medication, infant formula

CVS Pharmacy, Inc. recently settled a lawsuit filed by New Jersey Acting Attorney General John Hoffman after two of its stores in the state allegedly sold medicine and infant formula left to sit in the heat for days when their air conditioners broke.

Student sues University of Phoenix for alleged fraud

A former University of Phoenix psychology student in California sued the college on Friday, alleging that it engaged in fraudulent business practices when it sold her a “pipe dream” of transferable credits and a guaranteed job after graduation.
