A Johnstown, Pennsylvania resident has been sentenced to 100 months in federal prison for narcotics trafficking. Jessica Wilson, 39, was sentenced by United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan on May 8, 2025. The sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release.
Wilson was convicted of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute heroin, crack, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti announced the sentencing.
Court information revealed that between January 2021 and July 2021, Wilson conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute heroin, crack, and methamphetamine in the Western District of Pennsylvania. She was intercepted on a federal wiretap obtaining drugs for distribution. In a separate offense from April 2024 to June 2024, Wilson conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute mixtures containing fentanyl and crack.
Assistant United States Attorneys Maureen Sheehan-Balchon and Arnold P. Bernard Jr. prosecuted the cases for the government.
Acting United States Attorney Rivetti praised the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Laurel Highlands Resident Agency and Homeland Security Investigations for their roles in the investigation leading to Wilson's prosecution. Other agencies involved included the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; Internal Revenue Service–Criminal Investigation; United States Postal Inspection Service; Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General; Pennsylvania State Police; Cambria County District Attorney’s Office; Indiana County District Attorney’s Office; Cambria County Sheriff’s Office; Cambria Township Police Department; Indiana Borough Police Department; Johnstown Police Department; Upper Yoder Township Police Department; Richland Police Department; Ferndale Police Department; among other local law enforcement agencies.
This case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigation aimed at identifying and dismantling high-level drug traffickers and criminal organizations through a collaborative multi-agency approach.
