A Cedar Rapids woman has been sentenced to over eleven years in federal prison for her role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. Kris Marie Hagan, 66, pleaded guilty on January 3, 2025, to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Court documents and a sentencing hearing revealed that from 2019 until November 17, 2023, Hagan was involved in distributing more than 150 pounds of methamphetamine from her homes in Marion and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The sentence was handed down by United States District Court Chief Judge C.J. Williams in Cedar Rapids. Hagan received a prison term of 134 months and will also serve a five-year term of supervised release following her imprisonment. It is noted that there is no parole available within the federal system.
