Brandon G. Uber, a 24-year-old resident of Jamestown, New York, has been sentenced to 210 months in prison for distributing child pornography. The sentencing was delivered by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara, as announced by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who managed the case, detailed that in March 2021, Uber distributed images and video files depicting a 16-year-old minor female victim engaged in sexually explicit conduct via Snapchat. Additionally, Uber received similar content from other social media users and engaged in online conversations with another known minor female victim, persuading her to create and send him sexually explicit videos.

The investigation revealed that Uber stored the illicit material on various electronic devices including two cell phones and two tablets which were seized during the inquiry.

This case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations under Special Agent-in-Charge Erin Keegan's direction, the New York State Police led by Major Amie Feroleto, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff James Quattrone's leadership.
