The Multi-County Grand Jury has indicted a man on multiple felony counts related to an armed robbery in Elmore City last summer. Geane JW Johnson, Jr., 26, faces conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree and assault while masked or in disguise for his role in the June 4, 2024, incident at Lxchen LLC, a medical marijuana grow operation, in Garvin County.

Attorney General Gentner Drummond said his Organized Crime Task Force and its partner agencies across the state continue to crack down on organized criminal activity.

“We are committed to apprehending dangerous criminals, driving bad actors out of Oklahoma and enhancing public safety,” he said. “I am deeply grateful to our local law enforcement partners who work alongside my office. These officers are essential in our joint mission to investigate, prosecute and dismantle criminal operations that threaten the well-being of Oklahoma citizens.”

The Garvin County Sheriff's Office partnered with the Attorney General’s Office on this investigation.

“Law enforcement is at its best when we work as one team," said Garvin County Sheriff Jim Mullett. “From day one, this investigation has been about cooperation across agencies to bring justice to victims and safety to our communities. That mission remains the focus of everything we do.”

According to the indictment, Johnson and other unidentified individuals forcibly entered a house on the property while wearing masks and carrying firearms. The perpetrators allegedly assaulted several occupants, cut wires to the camera system and stole items that included identification documents, a 9mm Glock handgun, cash and processed marijuana. Johnson and his co-conspirators also allegedly damaged vehicles on the property by slashing tires and stole two vehicles to flee the scene.

Johnson has previous felony convictions, including unlawful possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute, burglary in the second degree, eluding a police officer and multiple weapons charges in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Every person arrested, charged or indicted is presumed innocent unless and until convicted of a crime in a court of law.
