Kevin Herve Cayemitte, a 36-year-old resident of Clarksburg, West Virginia, has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison. He was convicted on two counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Court documents and statements reveal that investigators received information about Cayemitte's involvement in methamphetamine distribution across Harrison and Lewis Counties. A package containing nearly 2,000 grams of methamphetamine was intercepted at a campsite linked to Cayemitte. Further searches led to the discovery of additional methamphetamine and firearms. It was noted that Cayemitte has previous drug-related convictions.

Following his prison term, Cayemitte will be subject to four years of supervised release.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda Wesley. The investigation was conducted by the Greater Harrison Drug Task Force, supported by HIDTA funding. Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh oversaw the proceedings.
