If you bought certain generic prescription drugs between May 2009 and December 2019, you might qualify for compensation. To verify eligibility, individuals can contact the provided information sources or visit the specified website. Eligible individuals should register on the website to file a claim when the claims period opens.

Attorney General Jeff Jackson commented, "For years, Apotex broke the law by working with other drug companies to raise prices on generic drugs. And North Carolinians ended up paying more for medicine they need. If you bought any of these medicines, you may be able to get money back. Please take a moment to check."

Attorney General Jeff Jackson, together with a bipartisan group of 50 Attorneys General, is working to expedite the settlement process. Apotex agreed in principle to a $39.1 million settlement last year for its involvement in a price-fixing conspiracy. The settlement also requires Apotex to cooperate with an ongoing multistate case, implement protections for fair competition, and adhere to antitrust laws in the future.
