Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is drawing attention to a new Federal Actions Tracker available on the Department of Attorney General's website. This tool aims to inform residents about significant federal actions, particularly focusing on the approaching 100 days of the Trump Administration.

“Left unchallenged, Donald Trump's unlawful actions would have grave consequences for Michigan and, as Attorney General, it is my responsibility to defend the rights of our residents and uphold the rule of law,” Nessel stated. She emphasized the necessity for Michiganders to understand the impact of these actions and how her office is responding. Nessel noted, “This tracker makes it easier for residents to follow our ongoing efforts to hold Donald Trump and his administration accountable.”

The tracker offers updates on the legal actions the Attorney General is undertaking against several federal policies and orders deemed unlawful. Under Nessel's leadership, Michigan has initiated 10 lawsuits and supported 17 briefs in various litigations aimed at ensuring the enforcement of legal standards. Additionally, a new reporting form has been launched for residents facing issues with their Social Security benefits.

In her ongoing efforts, Nessel has been visiting different locations across Michigan, engaging with residents and legislators to discuss the state's legal strategies and the local effects of federal executive actions. So far, she has conducted town halls in several cities, including Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Plymouth, Detroit, Kalamazoo, Benton Harbor, and Flint Township. Future town meetings are planned in Lansing, Southfield, and Roseville.
