A man from Littleton was sentenced in federal court in Boston for his role in a conspiracy involving cocaine and illegal firearms. Alan Robinson, aged 26, received a 10-year prison sentence from U.S. Senior District Court Judge William G. Young. This will be followed by five years of supervised release. In January 2025, Robinson admitted guilt to charges of possessing controlled substances with intent to distribute, firearms trafficking, and knowingly possessing a firearm related to drug trafficking.
Robinson was involved in a controlled sale with a cooperating witness, agreeing to sell four firearms, which included two ghost guns and an assault rifle, knowing the buyer was legally prohibited from purchasing. A search of Robinson’s home led to the discovery of approximately 3.3 kilograms of cocaine powder, along with several firearms and accessories, including a ghost gun assault rifle.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley, James M. Ferguson, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Boston Division, and Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox. The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department provided important assistance. Assistant U.S. Attorney Luke A. Goldworm of the Major Crimes Unit is handling the prosecution.
