Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield has announced a statewide town hall series titled "Safeguarding Oregon: Federal Oversight Forums," set to launch in April. The initiative coincides with Rayfield's 100-day milestone in office on April 10, 2025.
"In my first three months in office, we’ve established clear priorities: challenging federal overreach, fighting back against corporate greed, and standing up for veterans, students, and working families," Rayfield noted. "These forums will create an ongoing dialogue with Oregonians about federal accountability and how we’re working to protect their rights."
The forums will include appearances from Rayfield alongside prominent state and national leaders, aiming to offer direct engagement opportunities with residents across Oregon.
The schedule for the initial forums is as follows:
- Eugene: With Oregon House Speaker Julie Fahey, the forum will take place on April 9 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the University of Oregon Campus, located at Kincaid Street & 14th Ave, Prince Lucien Campbell Building, PLC 180.
- Portland: Featuring Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, the forum is set for April 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with the location yet to be announced.
- Bend: The forum is planned for May 3 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, with the location forthcoming.
Additional forums across the state are planned throughout the summer, with further details to be provided later.
