Fox Rothschild congratulates Alexandra J. Hirsch, who was named a 2025 Women in Business honoree by the Charlotte Business Journal.
The award recognizes “outstanding women who are creating an impact in the region through their work in the public and private sectors.”
Elevated to Partner in 2024, Hirsch focuses her practice on commercial claims and subrogation for catastrophic property claims involving product liability, construction defects, vehicles and other property affected by fire, water, collision or collapse. She also handles commercial litigation and insurance defense issues, representing companies and individuals in both state and federal courts in a variety of matters, including contracts and tort law.
When asked what inspired her to choose her profession, Hirsch told the Charlotte Business Journal that, “The law actually chose me. After graduating from Wake Forest University, I joined the FBI as an analyst and had the opportunity to testify in court against members of an organized crime group. I realized then that I wanted to be the one doing the questioning and not the one being questioned.”
An active member of her community, Hirsch volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Carolinas. “I know how important it is to have positive influences … and I’m excited to be able to pay that forward by being a mentor and role model to my Little,” she said.
Hirsch also proudly served in the United States Army Reserve JAG Corps. She noted that “Serving my country as a JAG Officer” is one of her most tangible career accomplishments.
