Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Intellectual Property Counsel Stephanie M. Piper to the firm's New York office. Piper focuses her practice on patent and trade secret litigation, representing clients in the life sciences, information technology, and consumer electronics fields in federal courts as well as before the International Trade Commission.
She is experienced at guiding clients through every stage of litigation from performing pre-suit evaluation; initiating suits; and conducting motion practice, claim construction, and fact and expert discovery to trial on the merits and appeals. Piper also advises clients on freedom-to-operate analyses and related diligence matters. She has significant experience representing biopharmaceutical companies in complex Hatch-Waxman litigation as well as experience representing medical device, biotechnology, software, and information technology companies.
