Attorney General Pamela Bondi has addressed recent violent incidents targeting Tesla properties, labeling them as acts of domestic terrorism. The Department of Justice has responded by charging several individuals involved in these attacks, with some facing charges that carry five-year mandatory minimum sentences.
Bondi emphasized the seriousness of the situation: “The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism. The Department of Justice has already charged several perpetrators with that in mind, including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences."
The Attorney General assured that investigations would continue to identify and prosecute those responsible for orchestrating and financing these criminal activities. "We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes," she stated.
