Bradley is pleased to announce that Spencer Ritchie has joined the firm’s Jackson, Miss., office as counsel in the Litigation and Governmental Affairs practice groups.

Mr. Ritchie regularly handles political law and advocacy matters, as well as general and appellate litigation, and is known for understanding big-picture issues while developing creative strategies to help clients achieve their business goals. Before joining Bradley, Mr. Ritchie was a partner with a mid-sized litigation firm serving the mid-South, where he worked with state and federal officials throughout the region. He has extensive experience appearing in Mississippi state and federal courts and serving as appellate counsel for large companies, as well as representing clients before agencies like the U.S. Department of Labor’s Administrative Review Board.
Mr. Ritchie earned his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and his B.A. from Texas Tech University. After law school, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Richard A. Schell in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and to the Hon. Rhesa H. Barksdale in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Ritchie has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2021 and has been consistently listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers since 2014. He is the current treasurer for the Mississippi Republican Party, served as a member of the Mississippi Ethics Commission from 2020-2024, and served two years as the executive director of the Mississippi Republican Party.
