Attorney General Charity Clark has joined a coalition of 22 other attorneys general in filing a second motion for enforcement concerning their lawsuit against the Trump Administration. The lawsuit addresses what they describe as an illegal freeze on federal funding. Despite multiple court orders, the administration is accused of continuing to block hundreds of millions of dollars in grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to various states.

This funding freeze, according to the coalition, poses a threat to critical emergency preparedness and recovery programs aimed at addressing issues such as wildfires, floods, and cybersecurity threats.

The recent motion was filed under the case name NY v. Trump. It forms part of an ongoing legal challenge against actions by President Trump, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and other federal agencies that have attempted to halt nearly $3 trillion in federal assistance funding. This funding supports essential programs and services intended for the benefit of American citizens.
