A Malden resident has admitted guilt in a federal court in Boston for his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy. Logan Pierre, also known as "LO," 33, confessed to conspiring to distribute and possessing with intent to distribute substantial quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine. U.S. District Court Judge Brian E. Murphy has set the sentencing date for June 5, 2025.
Logan Pierre was charged alongside his brother Isaiah Pierre in June 2024. However, Isaiah Pierre evaded capture and remains at large.
The investigation into the brothers' alleged drug activities began in the fall of 2023. Authorities claim that Logan and Isaiah were involved in selling methamphetamine within the greater Boston area. From October 2023 to May 2024, Logan Pierre allegedly participated in five controlled purchases involving a pound of methamphetamine each time. A search of Logan's residence uncovered an additional kilogram of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine.
The charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years up to life imprisonment, along with potential supervised release for life and fines reaching $10 million. Sentencing decisions are made by federal district court judges based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley; Jodi Cohen from the FBI's Boston Division; Malden Police Chief Glenn Cronin; and Revere Police Chief David Callahan. Assistant U.S. Attorney John T. Dawley is leading the prosecution.
