Jamie Green, a 47-year-old resident of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for his involvement in a cocaine distribution conspiracy. This decision was handed down by U.S. District Judge Gina M. Groh.

The case against Green stemmed from an investigation initiated by the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General. A package containing over two pounds of cocaine, mailed from Los Angeles to Green's address in Jefferson County, West Virginia, was intercepted. Following this discovery, authorities arrested Green at his home.

Green's criminal history includes prior convictions related to drugs, aggravated assault by a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and firearms offenses. After completing his prison term, he will be subject to three years of supervised release.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Kane represented the government in prosecuting the case. The investigation involved multiple agencies: the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General, the West Virginia State Police, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
