Muskogee man pleads guilty to failing to register as sex offender

Muskogee, Oklahoma – The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has reported that Jordan Bradley Brown, a 36-year-old resident of Muskogee, has pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender.

According to the indictment, Brown was previously convicted of second-degree rape and sexual battery. He was required by law to register as a sex offender. However, from June 28, 2024, until September 3, 2024, he did not fulfill this obligation while entering, leaving, or residing in Indian country within the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The case was investigated by the United States Marshals Service.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Brown's plea and has ordered a presentence investigation report. Until sentencing is completed, Brown will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Dak T. Cohen represented the government in this case.
