A Lynn resident, Emilio Garcia, has admitted his involvement in a significant drug trafficking organization operating on the North Shore of Massachusetts. In November 2023, law enforcement seized millions of doses of fentanyl and methamphetamine from a location linked to this group, with an estimated street value exceeding $7 million.

Garcia, also known as "6," entered a guilty plea in federal court in Boston. He faces charges including conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute. His sentencing is scheduled for May 20, 2025. Garcia was apprehended alongside Deiby Felix and Sebastien Bejin in November 2023.

The investigation into this organization began following an overdose death in Salem in July 2023. Authorities identified Garcia as the leader of the operation, supported by at least four others, including Bejin and Felix. Searches conducted on November 1, 2023, uncovered what is considered one of the largest seizures of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Massachusetts.

Among the confiscated items were nine kilograms of pink heart-shaped pills resembling candy but laced with fentanyl. Additionally, over 75 kilograms of narcotics were seized during the investigation period.

A search at Felix's residence revealed more than three kilograms of methamphetamine-laced pills and a firearm. The discovery included a clandestine laboratory used for manufacturing counterfeit pills within his building's basement.

Bejin pleaded guilty on January 15, 2025, with sentencing set for May 1, while Felix pleaded guilty on February 3 and will be sentenced on May 29.

Possession charges related to this case could result in sentences ranging from ten years to life imprisonment and substantial fines. Sentences are determined by federal guidelines based on U.S. statutes.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley along with officials from various law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Philip A. Mallard is handling prosecution efforts.
