Juniors from Beulah High School, under the guidance of Ms. Maci Behm, visited the state capitol on February 5th and had an educational stop at the supreme court. During their visit, they engaged with Justice Douglas Bahr.

The students were introduced to various aspects of the judicial system. They learned about "the role of state supreme court justices," explored "the annual average caseload of the court," discussed "differences between the federal and state supreme courts," and discovered "what it takes to become a justice," among other subjects.

The supreme court regularly hosts numerous schools each year, interacting with hundreds of students and teachers. These visits aim to enhance understanding of the role played by North Dakota's supreme court within the broader legal system.
