Three Mexican nationals were arrested in Bellevue, Washington, for their involvement in a drug deal involving over 25 pounds of crystal methamphetamine. U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman announced the arrests, stating that the men are currently held at the Federal Detention Center in SeaTac, Washington, on a criminal complaint.
According to case records, an undercover agent from Homeland Security Investigations initiated contact with a transnational drug organization on January 29, 2025. During the operation, after being shown the drugs, undercover agents led the suspects towards a vehicle where they claimed the money was located. Law enforcement then moved in to arrest the traffickers as they attempted to flee but were apprehended successfully. The men face charges of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute.
