Attorney General Anthony G. Brown today launched the Office of the Attorney General’s (OAG) Strategic Plan, which highlights the work undertaken during the first two years of his history-making first term as Maryland’s 47th Attorney General and announces the five strategic priorities that will drive the work of the Office of the Attorney General over the remaining half of his first term: 1. Strengthening Public Safety and Law Enforcement; 2. Protecting Consumers, Workers, and Promoting Fair Business Practices; 3. Upholding Civil Rights and Promoting Equal Justice; 4. Ensuring Good Stewardship of our Public and Natural Resources; and 5. Modernizing the Office of the Attorney General and Improving Organizational Efficiency. The OAG Strategic Plan outlines the Office of the Attorney General’s mission, vision, and values that Attorney General Brown brings to the office under his leadership: Mission: The Office of the Attorney General advises and represents State government, vigorously enforces the law to safeguard the rights of the people, and promotes justice and equity for all Marylanders.
