Federal grand jury issues seven indictments for drug trafficking and firearms offenses

A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin has returned several indictments, including charges related to drug trafficking and illegal firearms possession. These indictments highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to address criminal activities in the region.

Enrique Rodriguez, 41, from Las Vegas, Nevada, faces multiple charges including distributing cocaine and possessing a firearm as a felon. The indictment specifies incidents on June 6, 2024, and January 16, 2025. "If convicted," Rodriguez could face significant prison time ranging from five years to life.

Deontrae C. McIntosh, 21, of Marshall, Wisconsin is charged with distributing various drugs including cocaine and fentanyl. He also faces charges for possessing a firearm as a felon. The allegations span several dates in late 2024. McIntosh could face up to life imprisonment if found guilty.

Jason Barnard from Chippewa Falls is accused of methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking. The indictment details distribution activities on October 6 and December 6 of last year. Conviction could result in penalties ranging from five years to life imprisonment.

Johntay L. Johnson from Wausau is charged with maintaining a drug-involved premise among other offenses between December 2023 and November 2024. If convicted on all counts, he may face up to twenty years per charge.

Cashius Carter of Sun Prairie faces charges for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon between June and September last year. A conviction carries up to fifteen years in prison.

Malcolm Whiteside from Fitchburg is similarly charged with unlawful firearm possession dating back to August last year with potential penalties reaching fifteen years upon conviction.

Gregory P. Robinson of Madison faces multiple drug-related charges including maintaining a drug trafficking place over several weeks in June last year. His potential sentence ranges significantly depending on specific convictions.

Lastly, Leroy T. McNamara from Chippewa Falls is indicted for methamphetamine distribution occurring twice in July last year; he risks five to forty years imprisonment per charge if convicted.

These cases are handled by various Assistant U.S Attorneys following investigations by numerous law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin.
