An investigation by the Southwest Ohio Burglary Task Force has resulted in the arrest and indictment of four Chilean nationals accused of conducting a series of burglaries in affluent neighborhoods. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced that a Clark County grand jury indicted Jordan Francisco Sanchez, 22; Alexander Esteban Huaiquil-Chavez, 24; Bastian Alejandro Morales, 23; and Sergio Andres Cabello, 38. The charges against them include engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, participating in a criminal gang, and possessing criminal tools.

The arrests took place on January 10, with all four men currently held at the Clark County Jail. The task force was established by Yost last year to address home break-ins in Hamilton County. It operates under the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission and is led by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Indian Hill Police Department. The task force comprises members from various local police departments and sheriff's offices, with support from federal agencies such as the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.

The Clark County Prosecutor’s Office will handle the prosecution of this case. As the investigation continues, no further details are available at this time. It is important to note that indictments are allegations, and all defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
