Montrel Preston recently joined Steptoe & Johnson PLLC’s Oklahoma City office as an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Preston handles complex state and federal cases and provides tactical legal advice to clients, develops detailed litigation plans, and manages all aspects of litigation including pretrial research and procedures, trials, mediations, and appeals. In addition, he has experience drafting pleadings, negotiating settlements, managing discovery, and preparing expert witnesses.
He earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law where he gained experience as a Collegial Extern with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice James Winchester of the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
