Gabriel Lee Williams II, also known as Chi-Chi, has pleaded guilty to a federal firearm charge. The 26-year-old resident of Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, admitted to one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the indictment, Williams was found in possession of a 9mm handgun and a .40 caliber handgun on or about April 27, 2024. This occurred despite his previous conviction for a crime punishable by more than one year in prison.
The investigation leading to these charges was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Okmulgee Police Department.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Williams' plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. A presentence investigation report has been ordered, and Williams will remain in custody with the United States Marshals Service until sentencing.
