Patrick Tucker, a 28-year-old resident of Schenectady, New York, has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Carla B. Freedman and Frank A. Tarentino III, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), New York Division.

Tucker confessed to distributing approximately 49 grams of methamphetamine through three separate transactions between January and March 2023.

He now faces a potential prison sentence ranging from five to forty years, a fine that could reach $5 million, and a supervised release term of at least four years up to life. Sentencing will be determined by a judge based on the statute violated, U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, and other relevant factors.

The case was investigated by the DEA and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Dustin C. Segovia.
