United States Attorney Clint Johnson has announced the outcomes of the January Federal Grand Jury 2024-A indictments. The indictments are a formal method to inform defendants of alleged violations of federal law, which must be proven in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
Several individuals face charges for various offenses. Vincent Delmarco Berry, Mateaka Mignon Mansker, Jessica Janay Baldwin, and Michael Ray Crawley have been indicted for drug conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine. Berry is from McAlester, Mansker from Broken Arrow, Baldwin from Hartshorne, and Crawley also from McAlester. The FBI, McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office, and the Office of the Inspector General – Department of Corrections conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney George Jiang is prosecuting this case.
Henry Jose Flores Mayorga has been charged with being an alien unlawfully in possession of a firearm and possessing cocaine with intent to distribute. Mayorga is a Nicaraguan national accused of these crimes while knowing his illegal status in the United States. The investigative agencies involved include U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and Tulsa Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mandy M. Mackenzie is handling this prosecution.
Kolton Austyn Gene McAnally faces charges for involuntary manslaughter in Indian Country and assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian Country under a superseding indictment. A member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation from Vinita, McAnally allegedly caused Madison Barnes's death after operating a vehicle under alcohol influence in February 2024. He is also charged with causing serious bodily injury to another individual during the incident. Investigations were carried out by the FBI, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Stephen J. Flynn and Matthew Cyran are prosecuting this case.
