Terell Davis, a resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas, has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for illegal possession of ammunition. The sentence was announced by Jonathan D. Ross, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas. It was delivered by United States District Judge Billy Roy Wilson.

Davis, aged 40, pleaded guilty on February 20, 2024, to being a felon in possession of ammunition. In addition to his prison term, he will also face three years of supervised release. His indictment came on February 7, 2023, under a superseding indictment for one count related to this charge.

The case stems from an investigation into a shooting incident that led officers from the North Little Rock Police Department to execute a search warrant at Davis's residence on August 9, 2022. During this search, officers found various calibers of ammunition and multiple drum magazines.

At the time of his offense, Davis was on parole and had prior convictions including manslaughter and drug-related charges.

The investigation involved the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives with assistance from the North Little Rock Police Department.
