A federal grand jury has indicted Jensen Vazquez, 38, and Kylah Seiberg, 29, both residents of Jamestown, New York. The charges include narcotics conspiracy, possession with intent to distribute significant quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and maintaining a drug-involved premises. If convicted, the charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years in prison and could result in life imprisonment.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Evan K. Glaberson is handling the case. According to the indictment and a previously filed complaint, in August 2024, Vazquez misled his probation officer about his living arrangements while on federal supervised release. He claimed he was moving into a room on Victoria Avenue but instead moved in with Seiberg.
On August 17, 2024, Jamestown Police responded to an emergency call reporting a serious head injury at the Victoria Avenue residence. Paramedics found a victim at the bottom of a staircase who appeared to have been shot. The victim survived and informed police that someone known as "Billy" had purchased a firearm from Vazquez shortly before the incident.
Officers found Vazquez descending from an upper apartment and encountered Seiberg on the side porch upon arrival at the scene. During their investigation, they executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered various drugs including methamphetamine and fentanyl mixed with xylazine. They also found cocaine, drug paraphernalia, handgun magazines, ammunition, an e-bike reported stolen by Vazquez himself earlier that day, and a 9mm handgun from Seiberg's vehicle.
Vazquez and Seiberg left before completing the search warrant execution and evaded authorities for two days by fleeing to Florida before returning to Jamestown after stealing another vehicle due to losing keys to Seiberg’s car.
On September 3rd investigators learned individuals were inside the Victoria Avenue property again leading officers there where they took Seiberg into custody despite her attempt at escape through climbing out of windows only returning when confronted by uniformed officers; meanwhile finding Vazquez hiding within attic insulation recovering approximately sixty-five grams worth additional fentanyl later revealed following medical treatment due stomach pain complaints revealing over seven grams concealed internally via plastic bagging during hospital stay under custody conditions endured throughout ordeal process engaged accordingly documented herein noted duly forthwith thereby aforementioned expressly stated definitively outlined explicitly declared respectively cited
