U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced that Shawnle McClary, a 48-year-old resident of Rochester, New York, has pleaded guilty to charges related to drug trafficking and firearms possession. The plea was entered before U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr.

McClary admitted to conspiring with others to distribute over five kilograms of cocaine and more than 400 grams of fentanyl. He also acknowledged possessing firearms in furtherance of these drug trafficking activities. These offenses carry a minimum prison sentence of 15 years and could result in a life sentence.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert A. Marangola, who is prosecuting the case, revealed that between 2021 and January 17, 2024, McClary worked with individuals including Timothy Jackson, Jr., known as T or T-Rock; Gary Fuller, known as G; and Felicia Collins, known as Keisha. They were involved in selling cocaine and fentanyl in Rochester.

The investigation uncovered that McClary regularly packaged cocaine for sale and transported drugs from stash locations on Forester Street to other locations on Angle Street in Rochester. On January 17, law enforcement conducted searches at various sites used by the conspiracy members and at McClary’s residence on Mobile Drive in Greece Town. These searches resulted in the seizure of approximately 805 grams of cocaine, 210 grams of fentanyl, additional quantities of cocaine totaling 223 grams, $7,682 in cash, seven loaded firearms, and drug paraphernalia.

This case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) operation aimed at dismantling high-level criminal organizations through a coordinated multi-agency approach led by prosecutors.

The investigation was carried out by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives under Special Agent-in-Charge Bryan Miller's direction along with the Rochester Police Department led by Chief David Smith.

Sentencing for McClary is set for April 9, 2025.
